## Title: Company Secretary / Head of Legal

About the Role

Levitikal Group is expanding its dynamic team and seeking an experienced legal professional to serve as Company Secretary and Head of Legal. In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic legal leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the organization's growth objectives across all group operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including filings with relevant authorities for Levitikal Group
  • Maintain statutory registers, company records, and corporate documents
  • Prepare and file annual returns, resolutions, and other statutory documents
  • Ensure proper implementation of Board decisions and resolutions
  • Serve as principal legal adviser to the Group Managing Director and senior management
  • Align legal strategy with the Group's business objectives and risk appetite
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks across the Group
  • Manage disputes, claims, arbitrations, and litigation involving contractors, vendors, buyers, regulators, and third parties
  • Coordinate and supervise external counsel and legal consultants
  • Oversee compliance with labor, safety, environmental, and industry-specific regulations
  • Ensure the company's memorandum and articles of association are complied with and updated when necessary
  • Lead and manage legal team across subsidiaries
  • Develop internal legal policies, procedures, and training programs
  • Establish and enforce contract management processes and templates across the Group
  • Support negotiations with contractors, financiers, government agencies, and partners
  • Review commercial terms to protect the Group's interests while enabling business growth
  • Liaise with regulators, external auditors, land registries, government authorities, and professional advisers
  • Handle stakeholder communication and queries related to corporate governance matters

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or related field
  • 10–15 years of professional legal experience
