Job Summary

LinkOrgNet, a leading Internet Service Provider (ISP), is seeking a Company Lawyer to join our team. The Company Lawyer will provide comprehensive legal support and guidance, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations while protecting the company's interests. This role involves advising on various legal matters, including contracts, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, intellectual property, and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze contracts on behalf of the company
• Draft terms and conditions for company products
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and court cases
• Ensure the company complies with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment, taking appropriate action
• Develop and oversee systems to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, legal, and statutory requirements
• Provide expert legal advice to senior management on corporate governance, commercial contracts, labour law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance
• Ensure company operations comply with applicable laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution
• Master's Degree (LL.M) is an advantage
• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice law in Nigeria
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate legal environment
• Experience in telecommunications is preferred

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong understanding of Nigerian telecommunications laws and regulations
• Excellent negotiation skills
