About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a Company Driver. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a professional transportation operation serving our hospitality and tourism operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently drive company vehicles to transport people, goods, or equipment to designated locations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues, and ensure the vehicle is clean and fueled
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes using GPS and knowledge of the area to meet delivery deadlines
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies; report accidents or violations as required
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries or trips
• Handle the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and secure storage
• Interact with clients and colleagues in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, logistics teams, and other colleagues to manage schedules and coordinate transportation

Required Qualifications

• FSLC or HND qualification
• 2 - 5 years of work experience in a relevant field
• Valid driver's license with an impeccable driving record
• Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks

Required Skills

• Navigation skills, including the use of GPS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy items if required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation

N70,000 - N76,000 monthly
