## Title: Communications Specialist
About the Role
The Communications Specialist will support the Accelerating Control of the HIV Epidemic in Nigeria project (ACE – 1) Chief of Party by managing all internal and external communications and representing the project to external audiences. This position requires exceptional public speaking and writing skills, strategic thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of internal and external communications strategies for the organization
- Maintain social media platforms, databases, and knowledge management systems
- Develop content for AHNi ACE – 1 across all communications platforms, including newsletters, digital content, website articles, blogs, press releases, and social media updates
- Coordinate with all AHNi projects to develop regular communication materials highlighting ACE – 1 activities, achievements, and engagements
- Assist in rolling out media events such as press conferences, media briefings, external interviews, and campaigns
- Draft, translate, and disseminate media products including media advisories, press releases, and brief notes
- Develop communication materials for marketing and awareness-raising campaigns, including briefing materials and press releases
- Create quality and visually appealing presentations
- Manage content for AHNi website and social media channels
- Prepare advocacy briefs and compile publications
- Support graphic design and web optimization solutions for communications materials
- Plan events and coordinate communication activities
Required Qualifications & Skills

- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in content development, writing, and editing
- Experience with social media management and digital platforms
