## Title: Communication Officer
About the Role
We are expanding our dynamic team and seeking a talented Communication Officer to join NANA Girls and Women Empowerment Initiative in Lagos, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the development and production of publications and newsletters, including review of annual and quarterly reports
- Manage and regularly update NANA social media accounts
- Conduct field visits to liaise with target groups and produce case studies, press releases, human interest stories, and publications
- Write and publish press releases locally to highlight NANA's impact
- Lead the dissemination of communication materials to relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the presentation of best practices and lessons learned
- Provide rapid alerts regarding media opportunities and potential reputational risks
- Ensure compliance with organizational regulations, administrative and logistics procedures
Required Qualifications
- HND or Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in communication
- Strong technical proficiency with social media, multimedia, web, and digital tools
- Outstanding news writing, editing, and event planning skills
- Good understanding of Nigeria's media and communications environment
- Proven experience managing content production
- Demonstrated experience managing social media channels
- Excellent interpersonal skills with high integrity and professionalism
