Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. Job Purpose
  • Identify and onboard new merchants, corporate clients, and strategic partners.
  • Build strong pipelines for enterprise, SME, and institutional clients.
  • Lead proposal development, presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Manage end-to-end sales lifecycle from prospecting to onboarding.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking engagements.
Establish and manage partnerships with:
  • Banks and financial institutions
  • Payment processors and switches
  • Telcos and aggregators
  • Merchants and enterprise clients
  • Technology vendors and fintech partners
  • Structure commercial agreements and revenue-sharing models.
  • Monitor partner performance and optimize relationships.
Work closely with Product and Technology teams to:
  • Launch new fintech products and services
  • Define product pricing and value propositions
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights
  • Ensure products meet market needs and revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Monitor competitors, pricing models, and product offerings.
  • Provide strategic insights to guide business decisions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic clients.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
  • Address commercial escalations and contract renewals.
  • Prepare periodic commercial performance reports.
Track KPIs such as:
  • Revenue growth
  • Client acquisition and retention
  • Sales pipeline and conversion rates
  • Market penetration
Requirements: and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
  • MBA or a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • 4–7 years’ experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles.
  • Minimum 2–3 years in fintech, banking, payments, or financial services.
  • Proven track record of revenue generation and partnerships.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Relationship management and networking ability
  • Financial modelling and pricing strategy knowledge
