Job Purpose
- Identify and onboard new merchants, corporate clients, and strategic partners.
- Build strong pipelines for enterprise, SME, and institutional clients.
- Lead proposal development, presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Manage end-to-end sales lifecycle from prospecting to onboarding.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking engagements.
- Banks and financial institutions
- Payment processors and switches
- Telcos and aggregators
- Merchants and enterprise clients
- Technology vendors and fintech partners
- Structure commercial agreements and revenue-sharing models.
- Monitor partner performance and optimize relationships.
- Launch new fintech products and services
- Define product pricing and value propositions
- Gather customer feedback and market insights
- Ensure products meet market needs and revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Monitor competitors, pricing models, and product offerings.
- Provide strategic insights to guide business decisions.
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic clients.
- Ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
- Address commercial escalations and contract renewals.
- Prepare periodic commercial performance reports.

- Market penetration
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- MBA or a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- 4–7 years’ experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles.
- Minimum 2–3 years in fintech, banking, payments, or financial services.
- Proven track record of revenue generation and partnerships.
