Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English language instruction to upper primary students using 21st Century teaching methodologies
• Create a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Foster social and cognitive development in young learners
• Maintain classroom safety and organization
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively and collaborate with colleagues
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English Language Education or related field
• Registered and licensed by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN)
• Minimum of three years of working experience in 21st Century teaching methodology and style
• Strong grounding in the British curriculum
• PGDE (added advantage)

• High proficiency in English Language (speaking, writing, reading, and listening)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong speech and diction
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in educational tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and design tools such as Canva
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Excellent organizational and observational abilities
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Creative and innovative thinking
• Genuine passion for teaching and working with children
• Ability to think outside the box and adapt to diverse learning needs
