Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil/Structural Engineer with 15–20 years of proven experience in civil and structural engineering. The successful candidate should have a strong background in building design, construction supervision, and project execution. This role requires a seasoned professional with excellent technical expertise, leadership ability, and a track record of delivering high-quality, innovative, and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and supervision of civil and structural engineering projects
• Review and approve engineering drawings, calculations, and technical specifications
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
• Conduct site inspections and resolve structural and technical challenges
• Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation

Requirements

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field)
• Minimum of 15 years' professional experience in civil/structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role
• COREN registration or equivalent professional certification (mandatory)
• Proficiency in structural analysis/design software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and regulatory requirements in Nigeria
