Civil / Structural Engineer at Code Lab IT & Engineering Services

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee and manage construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and supervising infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and supervise civil engineering projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, and drainage systems
• Prepare and review project drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety standards
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with local and national engineering codes
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively
• Prepare and present progress reports and documentation for management review
• Identify potential risks or design issues and propose practical engineering solutions
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards are maintained throughout all phases of the project

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in civil/construction projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering design software
• Strong understanding of structural analysis, project management, and construction methodologies
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• COREN registration or eligibility for COREN certification is an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience in government or large-scale infrastructure projects
