Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with strong project management skills to complete construction projects through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling activities. The successful candidate will conduct quality inspections and supervise sub-contractors and staff to ensure project delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities
• Estimate quantities and costs of materials to determine project feasibility
• Provide technical advice regarding designs, construction, program modifications, and structural repairs
• Conduct environmental impact studies to identify engineering problems and assess potential project impacts
• Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities
• Plan and schedule maintenance jobs
• Raise purchase orders for critical spare parts
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Log and document daily job reports
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety measures and procedures during job execution
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and maintenance activities
• Prepare weekly and monthly consumption reports

Required Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Degree
• Minimum 5–6 years of practical on-site working experience
• Strong design and execution skills
• Professional licensure from recognized Engineering Regulatory Bodies in Nigeria (COREN, NSE, or PMP)
• Proven experience in infrastructure and building projects
• Expert-level project management experience
• Proficiency in standard industry software
