Civil Engineer – Ibadan at Helean Global Limited

About the Role

An established company is recruiting for a Civil Engineer to oversee civil construction projects and ensure quality execution across all phases of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction of buildings, equipment foundations, silos, tanks, utility structures, roads, drains, and landscaping
• Review and interpret civil and structural drawings, and coordinate with consultants for modifications
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), material requirements, and ensure quality control of construction materials (concrete, steel, etc.)
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings as needed
• Monitor contractor performance, labor management, and daily site progress
• Ensure civil works are completed according to engineering standards and project timelines
• Coordinate with mechanical and electrical project teams for equipment erection and service trench alignments
• Maintain site documentation, daily reports, and progress records
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards on site
• Assist in vendor and contractor evaluation and certification
• Support project commissioning by completing all civil activities on schedule

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in civil project execution in process industries
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Strong knowledge of structural design, RCC, steel structures, foundation works, and industrial buildings
• Strong site execution skills and ability to supervise contractors
