Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our growing technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising construction projects — ensuring structural integrity, cost efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and environmental standards.

This role requires hands-on site supervision, technical reporting, and collaboration with the design, surveying, and project management units.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee construction projects including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments
• Prepare structural and engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to approved designs
• Collaborate with surveyors, architects, and project teams to ensure project accuracy and timelines
• Conduct feasibility studies, soil investigations, and material assessments where required
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety codes, and environmental regulations
• Provide technical guidance to artisans, site engineers, and subcontractors
• Evaluate completed works and ensure proper handover procedures

Required Qualifications

• B.Eng Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or related field
• 2 - 5 years of practical experience in building construction or civil engineering projects
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of structural design principles, concrete works, and project supervision
• Knowledge of relevant codes and regulations in Nigeria
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure
• Registration with COREN or NSE (or in progress) is an added advantage
