About the Role

Meritabode Nigeria Limited seeks a dedicated Civil/Building Engineer to join our team in Lagos. You will be responsible for coordinating engineering projects, preparing structural designs, and ensuring all work meets specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects from inception to completion
• Prepare structural designs and detailed technical drawings
• Interact with clients to interpret their needs and translate requirements into structural designs
• Review engineering tasks and implement measures to prevent errors and ensure quality
• Ensure all project works are executed on schedule and according to specifications
• Oversee maintenance and management of construction materials
• Initiate and perform risk management to identify and minimize project risks
• Coordinate with various teams to ensure project goals and objectives are met
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department and management

Required Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and professional experience in civil or building engineering
• Sound knowledge of structural design and technical drawings
• COREN certification (advantageous)

Compensation

N200,000 - N250,000 per month
