Church Planter and State Intercessors -Edo

About the Role

Vine City Church International is seeking a dedicated Church Planter and State Intercessor to pioneer and establish a new church branch in Edo State. This is a leadership position that combines evangelistic outreach, spiritual guidance, and church development with a strong emphasis on intercessory prayer and spiritual warfare.

Key Responsibilities

• Pioneer and establish a new Vine City Church branch in the assigned state
• Lead evangelistic outreaches, discipleship programs, and spiritual growth initiatives
• Recruit, mentor, and establish new church members and develop strong congregations
• Organize and lead intercessory prayers for regional revival and church expansion
• Provide pastoral care, mentorship, and spiritual leadership to growing congregations
• Plant and build various fellowships including Student, Prison, Hospital, and Village Fellowships, as well as daughter churches across the state
• Lead church services, teach and preach God's word to the congregation
• Engage in daily pastoral visitations and provide sympathetic spiritual care to church members
• Participate actively in morning staff intercession sessions and weekly church prayer programs
• Conduct spiritual mapping as a tool for church planting and strategic church growth
• Engage in daily spiritual warfare and intercession as a discipline for winning souls and expanding God's kingdom
• Build strong community relationships and oversee church administration
• Execute church planting assignments across states as appointed by the Senior Pastor

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification
• 5–10 years of experience in church leadership or ministry
• Born-again pastor with a genuine passion for church planting
• Strong commitment to evangelism, discipleship, and intercessory ministry
• Proven experience pioneering and establishing new churches
• Demonstrated ability to mobilize, recruit, and develop strong congregations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
