Job Summary

The Chinese Translator is responsible for translating written and spoken content from Chinese to English and vice versa while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance. The role includes proofreading, editing, and collaborating with teams to ensure high-quality communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate documents, emails, reports, agreements, and other materials from Chinese to English and English to Chinese
• Provide real-time or scheduled interpretation during meetings, calls, and presentations
• Ensure accuracy, context, and cultural sensitivity in all translated content
• Review and proofread translated material to maintain quality and consistency
• Collaborate with departments (HR, Sales, Admin, Marketing, etc.) to fulfil translation needs
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all documents and communications
• Manage translation timelines and ensure timely delivery of assignments
• Assist in creating bilingual content including manuals, notices, and business correspondence
• Stay updated on industry terms, technical vocabulary, and relevant language standards
