Job Summary - The Chinese Translator is responsible for translating written and spoken content from Chinese to English and vice versa while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance. - The role includes proofreading, editing, and collaborating with teams to ensure high-quality communication and documentation. Key Responsibilities - Translate documents, emails, reports, agreements, and other materials from Chinese to English and English to Chinese. - Provide real-time or scheduled interpretation during meetings, calls, and presentations. - Ensure accuracy, context, and cultural sensitivity in all translated content. - Review and proofread translated material to maintain quality and consistency. - Collaborate with departments (HR, Sales, Admin, Marketing, etc.) to fulfil translation needs. - Maintain strict confidentiality of all documents and communications. - Manage translation timelines and ensure timely delivery of assignments. - Assist in creating bilingual content including manuals, notices, and business correspondence. - Stay updated on industry terms, technical vocabulary, and relevant language standards.
