Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and execute the company's technology strategy
• Align technology goals with business objectives
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify technology opportunities
• Oversee software development, infrastructure, data analytics, and cybersecurity
• Lead technology teams, including engineering, architecture, and IT
• Foster innovation, R&D, and emerging technology adoption

Operations

• Manage technology budgets and resource allocation
• Ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology infrastructure
• Develop and maintain technology policies and procedures

Innovation and Growth

• Identify emerging technologies and trends
• Develop partnerships with technology providers and startups
• Drive digital transformation initiatives

Technology Governance & Architecture

• Establish group-wide IT governance, policies, and controls
• Standardize enterprise architecture for efficiency and data integration
• Set up systems for performance monitoring, change management, and escalation

Security, Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions (e.g., CBN, NITDA, GDPR)
• Collaborate with internal audit, compliance, and legal teams to assess and mitigate technology risks
• Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans
• Oversee system security, fraud prevention mechanisms, and data privacy controls
