Position Overview

Novaonda Technologies Limited is recruiting a Chief Technology Officer for a full-time, on-site role located in Ikate, Lekki, Nigeria.

The Chief Technology Officer will be responsible for overseeing IT operations and strategies, managing the IT department, and ensuring the infrastructure is robust and secure. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing IT strategies, managing IT projects, overseeing the IT budget, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

The successful candidate will stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the company.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement the organization's IT and digital transformation strategy in alignment with overall business goals
• Advise the executive team and board on emerging technologies, risks, and opportunities
• Drive innovation to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and competitive advantage

Technology & Infrastructure Management

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of technology platforms
• Lead enterprise-wide system upgrades, integrations, and modernization initiatives

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

• Establish and enforce robust cybersecurity policies, protocols, and compliance frameworks
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technology-related risks
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, data privacy laws, and industry standards

Data & Analytics

• Champion data governance, integrity, and accessibility across the organization
• Leverage data analytics and business intelligence to support decision-making and performance measurement
• Drive initiatives that transform data into actionable insights
