Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Rovedana

Position Overview

Lead and manage all aspects of security, asset protection, and safety compliance for the company's manufacturing plant and inventory. This role focuses on preventing pilferage, unauthorized access, and maintaining a secure, efficient operational environment.

Location & Compensation

Location: Lagos/Ibadan Express Way, Ibadan, Nigeria

Salary: 700,000 Naira Net and above

Key Responsibilities

• Directly manage and eliminate product pilferage of raw materials, finished goods, and preforms by enforcing strict inventory control and movement procedures
• Design and manage all physical security operations across the entire plant floor
• Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and implement immediate corrective actions
• Manage and enforce site-wide access control for all personnel, vehicles, contractors, and visitors
• Manage, maintain, and optimize all electronic security systems including CCTV, alarms, and access control for optimal plant coverage
• Lead internal investigations related to theft, sabotage, and policy breaches, providing evidence-based reports for sanctions
• Recruit, train, and directly manage all in-house and outsourced security personnel
• Develop and implement effective security policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that support factory efficiency while ensuring safety and regulatory adherence

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Corporate Security
• Minimum 5 years in a senior security role within a manufacturing or industrial plant environment
• Hands-on experience with factory/production floor security, anti-pilferage strategies, and inventory protection
• Strong investigative abilities and team leadership skills
• Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment and modern CCTV and access control technology
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
