Chief Security Officer (CSO) at DO.II Designs Limited

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Chief Security Officer (CSO) to lead our security operations and ensure the safety of our people, property, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective security strategies while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable security policies, procedures, and regulations
• Liaise with emergency services, law enforcement, and other relevant agencies to address and resolve security issues
• Maintain strong relationships with local, state, and federal security bodies
• Develop risk management assessments and implement preventive measures against accidents, theft, and other risks
• Investigate security breaches and manage incident investigations
• Monitor and maintain security devices, including CCTV and access control systems, ensuring they are in good working condition
• Oversee access control for vehicles, staff, visitors, and restricted areas
• Validate business visitor credentials and ensure proper clearance for items entering or leaving the premises
• Supervise security personnel, including arranging shifts, managing leave schedules, and monitoring performance
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and company property
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head, HR & Shared Services

Key Performance Indicators

• Zero tolerance for theft of company property
• 100% functionality of CCTV systems with daily inspection and reporting
• Accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing items
• Effective management and monitoring of security personnel

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Security, or related field
• Higher degree or relevant certifications preferred
