About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Chief Security Officer at our organization in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a comprehensive security program encompassing physical safety and cybersecurity policies
• Review existing security measures and update protocols as needed to address emerging threats
• Oversee daily operations to identify potential security risks and opportunities for improvement
• Foster a culture of physical and digital security awareness through training sessions and personnel communication
• Manage, evaluate, and resolve any physical or digital security incidents or breaches
• Ensure company security policies comply with federal laws and relevant legislation
• Present risk assessments and improved security policies to management
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement appropriate budgets for security programs

Requirements

• OND qualification or equivalent
• 5–10 years of work experience in security management or related field
