About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Chief Security Officer. This role requires a strategic security leader to oversee all security operations and ensure the protection of company employees and assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and supervise all security personnel and provide clear direction on all security-related issues
• Develop comprehensive security plans and review them regularly to ensure optimal protection of company employees and assets
• Track, record, and notify all security risks, deviations from company security standards, and any untoward incidents
• Ensure compliance with all security standards and preventative measures, including vetting of security procedures such as journey management
• Conduct security incident investigations and compile timely reports for any theft, loss, accidents, or incidents that pose a risk to company assets and employees
• Handle security-related complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances and conflicts
• Develop and maintain monthly checklists for all security equipment to ensure full functionality
• Implement site and office access control systems
• Interface and liaise with governmental security bodies and external security advisors to assess security risks and brief management
• Be available 24 hours a day for genuine security emergencies within the company

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in a relevant field
• Retired Police officer
• 12 to 15+ years of security experience
• Must reside in Lagos
