Chief Mate

Job Requirements - Nautical College- Maritime Engineering Degree - 8 years deep water off shore drilling experience including 5 years proven experience as Chief Mate; - Valid unlimited Chief Mate's license GMDSS General Operators certificate - Nautical Institute Dynamic Positioning training courses; - Nautical Institute Dynamic Positioning Unlimited certificate. - Knowledge of all technical calculations required for safe operation on of marine aspect of the vessel; - All STCW 95 required training for Chief Mate vessel class and flag requirements, endorsement issued by flag authority for recognition of foreign COC without - restrictions. - Valid Ship Security Officer's certificate is a must. - Prior drillship experience is preferred. Candidates must meet the following requirements: - Nigerian nationality; - Professional experience in the Oil & Gas industry is an added advantage; - Academic qualifications equivalent to or in line with those required for the position; Availability to work offshore on a rotational schedule of 28/28 or 35/35 days.
