Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or CPA) – mandatory
• Master's degree (MBA or MSc in Finance) – advantageous

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 13 years' post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, or treasury management
• At least 5 years in a senior management or executive role within mortgage banking or financial services
• Proven experience in financial planning, mortgage portfolio management, regulatory reporting, and capital management

Key Competencies

• Strong knowledge of CBN regulations, mortgage banking operations, and IFRS reporting standards
• Demonstrated expertise in liquidity management, asset-liability management, and cost optimization
• Ability to manage complex financial structures, mortgage-backed assets, and credit risk exposures
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• High integrity, transparency, and strong commitment to corporate governance and ethical standards
