## Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
About the Role
The CFO will provide strategic financial leadership, overseeing all financial planning, risk management, reporting, and compliance functions. The role ensures the organization maintains sustainable growth, financial integrity, and shareholder value, while supporting operational and investment decisions.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the accounting team through respectful communication, clear expectations, relevant training, productive coaching, regular meetings, and appropriate performance management
- Develop and maintain a system of standard operating policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over Finance Department activities
- Advise the CEO and Board on financial performance, market trends, and business opportunities
Daily Financial Operations
- Resolution of all billing-related disputes
- Analyze Accounts Payable and Receivable on a weekly basis
- Review all ledger details (e.g., guest ledger, deposit ledgers) to validate proper payment and revenue posting
- Review all postings, payments, revenue, and guest balance reports daily
- Ensure that cash flows are adequate to allow business units to operate effectively
- Maintain banking relationships and negotiated loans and merchant services for business units
- Maintain and transfer money between bank accounts as required
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for the management team
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Develop and manage the annual budgets for the Group
- Conduct financial forecasting and variance analysis
Cost Control
- Implement cost control measures to optimize expenses
- Analyze operational costs and identify areas for improvement
Financial Planning
- Collaborate with the different subsidiaries to develop financial plans that align with organizational goals
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making
- Support mergers and acquisitions
