Key Responsibilities

• Lead company-wide financial planning, reporting, and compliance
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, financial controls, and investment strategies
• Drive fundraising initiatives and manage investor relationships
• Strengthen financial processes across operations and mineral buying centers
• Advise the CEO and Board on financial strategy, growth, and expansion
• Manage corporate finance, risk management, capital allocation, and banking relationships

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CFA
• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree (MBA or Finance)

Required Experience

• Proven experience in Mining, Manufacturing, Energy, or other Heavy Industrial Sectors
• Strong background in Financial Strategy, Corporate Finance, Budgeting, and Risk Management
• Experience managing large-scale operations, multi-branch finances, and complex compliance structures
• Demonstrated track record in fundraising, including debt financing, equity capital raising, investor relations, and securing strategic financial partnerships

Key Skills

• Deep knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance frameworks in Nigeria
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and financial modeling skills
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to develop and implement cost-saving strategies and ensure financial efficiency
• Experience managing relationships with the CEO, Board of Directors, investors, and regulatory bodies
