Chief Accountant [Chartered] at Landgate Investments Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to oversee all accounting operations and provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts
• Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts, bank statements, and client payments
• Monitor cash inflows and outflows, including rent collections, sales proceeds, and project expenditures
• Implement effective cost control and budgeting measures
• Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger management
• Ensure proper documentation of all transactions
• Maintain accurate records of all client accounts
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and company policies
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulators as required

Strategic & Advisory Duties

• Advise management on investment opportunities, funding options, and financial risks
• Provide financial analysis to support pricing strategies, project feasibility studies, and expansion plans
• Participate in business strategy meetings, providing insights on financial implications of key decisions

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, train, and mentor finance and accounting staff
• Assign tasks, review performance, and ensure departmental efficiency
• Promote ethical practices, transparency, and accountability within the department
