About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our finance team in a key accounting position.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support business decision-making
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations for accuracy and efficiency
• Conduct internal audits, ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws (including FIRS regulations), and handle statutory filings
• Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks
• Prepare tax returns, VAT computations, and support external audits while advising on financial best practices
• Collaborate with management to develop financial strategies and monitor cash flow projections
• Maintain financial records using tools such as QuickBooks or SAP, ensuring timely reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognized Nigerian university
• Full ICAN or ACCA charter with minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in accounting or auditing
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and knowledge of Nigerian GAAP/IFRS
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with a commitment to ethical standards

Desirable Experience

• Experience in outsourcing or fintech sectors
