About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated Chartered Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards
• Conduct variance analysis and prepare financial reports for management review
• Monitor financial performance and advise on improvement areas
• Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
• Track budget performance and highlight variances for management action
• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records with proper documentation and transaction classification
• Ensure tax compliance including VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax filings
• Liaise with external auditors and prepare audit schedules and supporting documents
• Implement and enforce financial policies, internal controls, and procedures
• Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations
• Monitor bank transactions, reconcile accounts, and manage relationships with financial institutions
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions
• Evaluate investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and financial risks

Required Qualifications

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
