## Title: Channel Sales Representative – Solar Products

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Channel Sales Representative to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive sales of solar panels, batteries, inverters, and related products to distributors and retailers across Nigeria. This position combines account management, business development, and partnership building, ensuring that distributors and retailers not only purchase regularly but also evolve into committed, long-term partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through distributors and retailers
  • Proactively prospect, onboard, and manage new distributor and retail accounts
  • Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance to maximize product movement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key decision-makers
  • Provide product training, sales support, and promotional materials to channel partners
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Develop distributor and retailer accounts into strategic partners with long-term agreements
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for joint marketing campaigns, promotions, and events
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotions within the channel network
  • Provide regular reports and market feedback to management for strategy refinement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in B2B sales, channel sales, or distribution sales of solar and electronics
  • Strong network of distributors and customers
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • High initiative, self-driven, and result-oriented mindset
  • Ability to travel frequently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of distribution and retail market dynamics in Nigeria
