About the Role

An established company is seeking a Channel Manager & Presenter to oversee the daily operations and management of Nigeria's dedicated movie channel. In this role, you will develop and execute content strategies to drive audience growth and channel ratings while serving as the face of the channel through on-camera presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and management of the movie channel
• Develop and execute content strategies to drive audience growth and channel ratings
• Lead the planning, production, and review of movie-related programs, ensuring high-quality content that aligns with broadcast standards and audience expectations
• Serve as the face of the channel through on-camera roles, including interviews, hosting, movie reviews, and voiceovers to strengthen channel brand identity
• Participate in movie specials, celebrity interviews, and industry events, providing professional insights into Nollywood and global cinema trends
• Coordinate the work of producers, reporters, camera operators, and editors to ensure smooth and efficient program production
• Monitor ratings data and industry developments, proposing innovative content strategies and promotional initiatives to enhance channel performance and audience engagement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Media, Journalism, Film Studies, Broadcasting, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in television, movie channels, or new media, with proven experience in channel or program management
• Passionate about cinema with a strong understanding of the Nollywood industry, capable of shaping content strategies around audience interests and industry trends

Required Skills

• Skilled in on-camera presentation, interviewing, hosting, and voiceover work
• Fluent English communication with strong screen presence
• Solid knowledge of program production and broadcasting workflows, including scripting, interviewing, hosting, and post-production
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with ability to lead a team effectively
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
