Category Manager – Production Operations, Maintenance, Engineering & Projects (POMEP)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. - We are recruiting an experienced Category Manager (POMEP) to support a leading upstream oil & gas operator. - The role will lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for production operations, maintenance, engineering, and capital projects, ensuring operational reliability, cost efficiency, and compliance with Nigerian Content and HSE requirements. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, or Civil Engineering. - Minimum 12 years' experience in engineering-related procurement within the upstream oil & gas industry. - Strong experience with production, maintenance, and project procurement in a regulated E&P environment. - Proven capability in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost optimization. - Good knowledge of Nigerian Content requirements and ERP procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, or simillar). - Strong commercial acumen, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. - Professional certifications (CIPS, APICS/CPIM, "MI) are an added advantage.
