Category Manager

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Role Description - We are looking for a dedicated Category Manager to oversee the performance and growth of specific product categories within our brand. - The role involves analyzing market trends, managing supplier relationships, developing strategic plans, and collaborating with marketing, sales, and design teams to maximize profitability. Responsibilities will include inventory management, monitoring sales performance, and implementing promotional campaigns. - This is a full-time, on-site role located in Lagos. Required Qualifications: - Proficiency in market analysis, data interpretation, and inventory management. - Strong negotiation, supplier relationship management, and procurement skills. - Experience in sales strategy, category planning, and category-specific marketing plans. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities. - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail. - Familiarity with the fashion or retail industry is an advantage. - Proficiency in using business management software and tools. - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required. - Relevant certifications in procurement or category management are a plus
