Cashier Assistant / Sales Assistant

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Harmony Sanitary in Lagos, Nigeria as a Cashier Assistant / Sales Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods
• Ensure all monetary exchanges are properly recorded, with attention to detail to guarantee correct change and receipt issuance
• Maintain the cash register in a balanced state, reconciling daily transactions and ensuring all discrepancies are reported and resolved promptly
• Provide customers with accurate receipts, ensuring that all items are correctly billed and properly tracked for returns and exchanges
• Maintain accurate record-keeping of all transactions, including sales, refunds, and exchanges
• Update customer transaction records, ensuring that all reports and receipts are completed and filed according to company procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of a degree in a related field
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Teamworking abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Analytical skills
• Age preferably between 20-30 years
