## Title: Cash Handling Officer
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Cash Handling Officer to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate cash records, and ensure smooth payment operations. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and skilled in handling cash and other payment methods while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process customer payments via cash, POS, bank transfers, and other payment methods
- Maintain and reconcile cash drawers and prepare daily cash reports
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and security standards
- Assist with financial record-keeping, including deposits, petty cash, and receipts management
- Address customer inquiries or discrepancies professionally and escalate issues when necessary
Requirements
- OND / HND / B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 1 – 3 years of experience in cash handling, cashiering, or financial operations
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with POS systems, banking procedures, and basic Excel
- Excellent communication, integrity, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
