Care Coordinator

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Position Summary: - You will be expected to provide safe, ethical, and high-quality nursing care to patients in line with NHIA guidelines, professional nursing standards, and policies in a clinical environment under the supervision of a Medical Doctor. Main Responsibilities: - Confirm registration and the record of vital signs. - Provide routine nursing care, wound dressing, injections, immunizations, antenatal and postnatal nursing care. - Assist Medical Officers during consultations and minor procedures. - Identify cases requiring referral and support the approved NHIA referral process. - Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and environmental hygiene - Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely. - Maintain accurate nursing notes, patient records, and clinical registers. - Complete required NHIA and primary care documentation. - Work closely with doctors, community health workers, laboratory staff, and pharmacists. - Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of patient information. - Supervise Healthcare Assistants as assigned. - Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives. - Participate in community-oriented primary care and wellness programmes as required - Perform any other duties that may be assigned by management. - PA code issuance - Management and overseeing of Mines Clinic - Quality Assurance - General oversight function - Confirmation of eligibility for care assessment
