Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Sonographer to join our medical imaging team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing non-invasive cardiovascular examinations, including echocardiograms, and providing accurate diagnostic data for patient care. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and other non-invasive cardiovascular examinations
• Acquire, analyze, and interpret sonographic data
• Prepare and submit preliminary diagnostic reports
• Interact with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic information
• Provide technical support during imaging procedures as needed
• Maintain high standards of quality control and patient safety in all imaging practices

Qualifications & Requirements

• Expertise in Cardiology and Non-invasive Cardiology
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) preferred
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic medical imaging in cardiovascular care
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant medical or imaging field preferred
• Relevant experience in a similar role is an added advantage
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, comprehensive reports
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a clinical environment
