About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Canteen Cashier.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Take orders from customers and ensure they are entered correctly into the POS system
• Process payments, issue receipts, and provide change due to customers
• Keep the cashier area clean and organized, ensuring the front area is tidy and presentable
• Handle customer complaints and provide assistance to ensure a positive dining experience
• Work with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure orders are processed and delivered promptly
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures
• Inform the manager of any discrepancies, customer complaints, or issues with the POS system
