Cake Baker & Decorator

Key Responsibilities: - Bake and decorate cakes and desserts using standard and custom recipes - Create custom designs for birthdays, weddings, events, and special orders - Oversee daily confectionery production and ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery - Develop creative cake designs and seasonal dessert offerings - Supervise, train, and guide confectionery staff - Manage inventory, cost control, and minimize waste - Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards - Maintain high customer satisfaction through product quality and presentation. Education: & Requirements - Minimum of SSCE (professional baking / decorating training is an advantage) - Proven experience in cake baking and decoration (portfolio required) - Strong buttercream and fondant skills - Creative, detail-oriented, and quality-focused - Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak periods.
