## Title: Business Support Officer - PTSP

Job Summary

Supervise activities and teams responsible for providing support to merchants across all Financial Institutions Directorates. Ensure prompt resolution of all operational issues and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track all merchant requests and complaints through interface with Helpdesk, Supervisors, ROs, and Banks
  • Resolve operational issues for each bank via established Support Structure
  • Interface with ROs, Banks, Device Application, and support teams for timely deployment, upgrades, updates, and repairs of terminals
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders (internal and external) to conduct periodic training for team members
  • Deliver training to banks and newly acquired merchants on new and existing applications, products, and solutions
  • Ensure clients are adequately informed and trained on new and existing applications, products, and solutions
  • Ensure team members have functional working tools by coordinating with relevant teams through Admin interface
  • Monitor health status across all terminals where UP is PTAD (and other PTAD applications with monitoring capability) and take proactive steps to address identified issues
  • Ensure PDOs undertake merchant location visits in accordance with agreed SLAs
  • Monitor deployment of paper rolls, consumables, and decals
  • Support Team Lead and Head of Department in executing responsibilities across the region

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Management, Economics, Finance, or Technology
  • Minimum 7 years of post-NYSC experience
  • Hands-on experience in channel operations, processes, and functions (financial sector experience is an added advantage)
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Key Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of POS channel delivery and operations
