## Title: Business Support Officer

Job Objectives

To provide business and operational support to other financial institutions (OFIs) such as micro-finance banks, mortgage banks, and other licensed entities. This role ensures seamless service delivery by managing onboarding, transaction monitoring, issue resolution, and relationship support, while collaborating with internal teams to maintain service standards and strengthen institutional partnerships.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support to OFIs on operational and service-related matters
  • Assist with onboarding and integration of OFIs onto payment platforms
  • Monitor transactions and settlements, escalating discrepancies for timely resolution
  • Liaise with Technology, Operations, Risk, and Finance teams to resolve issues within SLAs
  • Maintain updated records of OFI activities, complaints, and resolutions
  • Support reconciliation, reporting, and periodic performance reviews
  • Document and track OFI feedback for process and service improvement
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or any related field.

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 4 years post-NYSC experience.

  • Knowledge: Good knowledge of payment systems, OFI operations, and settlement processes
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Communication: Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
