## Title: Business Development Specialist

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Abuja. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for generating leads, conducting market research, analyzing data, and providing excellent customer service. Your daily tasks will include identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and collaborating with marketing and sales teams to achieve business goals.

Why This Role Matters

You will help Medicaid Radio-Diagnostics grow patient volumes, deepen partnerships, and make our services more accessible and profitable. Our services include radiology, lab work, echo, endoscopy, FibroScan, pre-medicals, and corporate screenings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive patient acquisition and service-line growth through targeted campaigns and outreach
  • Build and manage partnerships with hospitals, clinics, HMOs, corporates, schools, NGOs, and embassies
  • Lead marketing initiatives with the Communications team (digital/offline campaigns, activations, community events)
  • Develop service packages and pricing strategies (corporate wellness, back-to-school, maternal bundles)
  • Prepare proposals, RFPs, and MOUs; close deals and manage the business development pipeline and CRM
  • Track performance metrics and provide weekly reports on leads, conversions, revenue impact, campaign ROI, and feedback

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business development or marketing experience in healthcare (diagnostics, hospital, HMO, or medical devices)
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Public Health, Physiology, Radiography, or related field
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Proficiency with data tracking tools (Excel/Google Sheets) and CRM systems
  • Readiness for fieldwork in Abuja (client visits, activations, including some Saturdays)

Desirable Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Power BI or Google Data Studio
  • Valid driver's license

  • Monthly patient volume growth and new account signings
  • Revenue from new and expanded services and partnerships
  • Campaign ROI and conversion rates
  • Retention of key accounts
