## Title: Business Development Officer
Job Summary
The Business Development Officer is responsible for driving growth and visibility of Emel Hospitals Ltd through effective marketing of hospital services and clinical specialties. The officer will identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing relationships, and promote the hospital's facilities and service units.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote all hospital services and specialties to HMOs, corporate, and individual clients
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase patient inflow and service utilization
- Conduct regular visits to organizations, HMOs, and referral sources to maintain strong partnerships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and service areas
- Coordinate hospital outreach, campaigns, and health awareness programs
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer feedback for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to package and communicate hospital services effectively
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly marketing performance reports
- Support digital marketing and branding initiatives to enhance visibility and reputation
- Represent the hospital professionally at external functions, health fairs, and corporate engagements
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in business development
- Proven record of achieving marketing or business growth targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Good knowledge of hospital operations and service lines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and basic digital marketing
- Self-driven and goal-oriented with ability to work with minimal supervision
