## Title: Business Development Officer
Position Overview
The Business Development Officer will actively pursue new business acquisition, upselling, and cross-selling of financial and immigration investment products and services. This role involves initiating, nurturing, and expanding new business relationships with a primary focus on driving sales for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential customers through various channels
- Research and qualify leads to ensure they fit the target customer profile
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects
- Plan and execute daily field sales calls
- Maintain regular contact with prospects
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's products and services
- Stay updated on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to address specific customer needs and concerns
- Schedule meetings, presentations, or demonstrations to showcase product offerings
- Report on sales performance and pipeline status
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all sales transactions
- Attend to client inquiries and resolve queries
- Provide periodic reports as required
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge
- Stay updated on new sales tools, techniques, and industry best practices
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations
- Perform other functions as assigned by direct report
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years post-NYSC experience in a similar role
- Age 35 years and above
- Master's degree (advantageous)
- Banking experience preferred
