## Title: Business Development Manager
Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, negotiate contracts, and implement growth strategies to drive sustainable revenue and expand market presence. This role serves as a critical bridge between the company and potential clients, partners, and markets, ensuring the organization achieves its financial and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new markets, customer needs, and emerging industry trends
- Research and identify potential business partnerships, collaborations, and expansion opportunities
- Generate and pursue new sales leads by contacting prospective clients and partners
- Develop and present compelling proposals, quotations, and sales contracts
- Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financial implications
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, and HR teams to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Track and monitor sales performance, revenue growth, and key business development metrics
- Attend conferences, industry events, and networking engagements to build strategic relationships
- Respond to RFPs and vendor inquiries with accurate and compelling information
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, revenue, invoices, and client interactions using CRM systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years proven experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, or similar role
- Demonstrated track record of revenue growth and sales performance
Required Skills
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
