Job description
We are seeking to hire a Business Development Executive for our client in the wellness Industry (Massage & Spa). The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding client base, securing community partnerships, and ensuring the centre consistently achieves its revenue targets. This role blends sales, marketing support, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Client Acquisition
- Generate new clients through referrals, community outreach, walk-ins, and structured sales activities.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings; upsell service packages and loyalty programs.
- Follow up on leads, manage a healthy sales pipeline, and achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Identify and secure partnerships with corporates, gyms, salons, apartments, events, influencers, and wellness-focused organisations.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns to increase footfall.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and industry trends.
- Build strong client relationships to increase retention and repeat business.
- Collaborate with front-desk staff and therapists to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Gather client feedback and suggest improvements to services and offerings.
- Support basic marketing and social media content (collaborations, promotions, themed events).
- Provide insights on trending wellness content and customer preferences.
- Represent the centre at fairs, events, and community engagements.
- Track sales performance, conversion rates, partnership outcomes, and revenue growth.
- Prepare weekly/monthly business development reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation of leads, client feedback, and promotional results.
- HND/B.Sc. in Business, Marketing, or any related field (preferred but not compulsory).
- 2–3 years’ experience in retail sales, business development, customer acquisition, or a similar role.
- Background in wellness, spa, beauty, fitness, lifestyle retail, or health-oriented services.
- Certifications in customer service, wellness, or retail management are an added advantage.
- Strong sales mindset with the ability to persuade, follow up, and close deals with proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets.
- Good understanding of wellness services, massage offerings, and customer expectations in the industry and experience building partnerships and generating community-level engagement.
