## Title: Business Development Executive
About the Role
An established company is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth through strategic client acquisition, relationship management, and business expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Close deals with corporate clients and high net worth individuals
- Write proposals and presentations to prospective clients
- Create and implement sales and marketing strategies
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Maximize the company's operating performance
- Familiarize yourself with all products and services offered by the company
- Procure new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department
- Attend networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients
- Maintain meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure retention
- Suggest upgrades or additional products and services of interest to clients
- Craft business proposals and contracts to increase revenue
- Negotiate with clients to secure competitive pricing
- Equip staff with technical and social skills needed to enhance sales performance
- Review client feedback and implement necessary improvements
- Monitor consumption trends to ensure offerings remain relevant
- Prepare weekly reports
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant professional experience
- Prior experience in power, energy, or electrical sectors is essential
- Reside on the Island or in close proximity (e.g., Yaba Axis, Gbagada)
