## Title: Business Development Executive - Oil & Gas
Overall Purpose of Role
To support the company's business growth objectives by identifying new business development opportunities in the upstream oil and gas sector, compiling bids, and collecting project data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop in-depth understanding of the company's business development processes, products, and services
- Meet agreed sales targets and business generation objectives across all product and service offerings
- Identify application areas on client sites and prepare appropriate proposals highlighting product benefits and usage
- Prospect for and acquire new, financially viable high-volume customers
- Identify and recommend technical assistance for key customers
- Prepare and deliver effective product presentations to clients
- Understand the operations of joint venture partners and evaluate new technologies
- Gather market intelligence for the preparation of reports, tenders, and presentations to secure company contracts on ongoing and upcoming projects
- Define customer relationship strategies and develop customized relationship plans for each customer group
- Collate client-specific intelligence and produce weekly reports
- Interface with relevant regulatory bodies and follow up on submitted tenders for company products and services
- Generate work orders, Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Purchase Orders (POs)
- Manage customer accounts effectively to ensure sales targets are achieved
- Collect and communicate business intelligence across the organization
- Ensure timely payment for all supplies and services
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain proper documentation
- Provide regular updates on plans and progress
- Perform additional duties as assigned
