Business Development Executive

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive with a strong background in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of proven experience in business development, with knowledge of tendering processes and Ariba platforms.

This role requires strategic thinking, relationship-building capabilities, and the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in the oil and gas market.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Strategy

• Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies focused on the oil and gas sector
• Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential clients in upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas operations
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects, targeting multinational and indigenous oil and gas companies
• Collaborate with senior management to set quarterly and annual sales targets aligned with company growth objectives

Tendering & Proposal Management

• Manage the end-to-end tendering process, from identification to submission, ensuring compliance with client requirements
• Prepare and review proposals, technical and commercial documents for accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness
• Maintain a clear understanding of tendering platforms (including Ariba) and ensure timely and successful submissions
• Track tender outcomes, analyze performance, and implement strategies to improve win rates

Client Relationship Management

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, project managers, and procurement teams within target organizations
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events to strengthen the company's presence in the oil and gas sector
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, contract negotiations, and relationship management

Market Research & Intelligence

• Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and competitive insights within the oil and gas industry
