## Title: Business Development Analyst

About the Role

RusselSmith Group is expanding its dynamic team and seeking a talented Business Development Analyst to support our bid management, pricing analysis, and customer relationship management operations.

Tender & Bid Management

  • Collate and coordinate responses to bids, tenders, and RFPs/RFQs
  • Maintain a comprehensive tender tracker with deadlines, requirements, and submission status
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather technical information and documentation for tender submissions
  • Ensure all bid requirements and compliance criteria are fully met before submission
  • Archive and maintain a library of previous bids and tenders for future reference

Pricing & Costing Analysis

  • Compile and prepare detailed quotes and pricing proposals for review by the Business Development Manager
  • Conduct cost analysis for potential opportunities to assess profitability margins
  • Gather costing data from operations, procurement, and finance teams
  • Develop and maintain standardized rate cards and price lists
  • Analyze competitor pricing and market rates to ensure competitive positioning
  • Flag non-profitable opportunities and provide recommendations for pricing adjustments

CRM & Data Management

  • Upload and regularly update rates, price lists, and product/service information in Zoho CRM
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across all pricing databases and systems
  • Create and manage pricing templates and quote formats within the CRM
  • Generate reports on quotation activity, win/loss rates, and pricing trends
  • Ensure all pricing documentation is properly version-controlled and easily accessible
